Katy Hutchings, MM, MA MT-BC is a board certified music therapist and received her Masters in Music Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. Before coming to YCCA, Katy worked with children for over ten years in the greater Philadelphia area, teaching voice lessons, directing children’s choirs, and leading musical theater classes. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Katy came to the East Coast to attend Haverford College and then received her first Masters in Voice Performance at Temple University. Katy loves to use music, the imagination, and teamwork to encourage the development of strong self-esteem, self-expression, and creativity of children of all ages. As a mom herself, Katy loves working with families to create positive musical experiences.
Aviva Muskin, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist and a graduate from Temple University. Originally from Cleveland, Aviva moved to Philadelphia to study music therapy to combine her love of music with passion of helping others. Aviva is a pianist and violinist and has been teaching both instruments for many years.
Rachael Holmes, MA MT-BC is a board certified music therapist and the Creative Arts Therapy Director at YCCA. She received her Masters in Music Therapy from Drexel University and her Bachelors in Music from Indiana University in Pennsylvania. Rachael is also an independent contractor through Music Therapy Associates where she primarily works with teens and young adults with disabilities. Rachael plays trumpet, guitar, ukulele, and piano and has taught private lessons for many years.
